Return to events.

Greetings! We at Spilling Ink are so proud to announce our 10-year anniversary in 2017. The past years have seen a broad range of creative projects come to life, including solo, duet and group performance projects, arts education and outreach programs, conferences, collaborations and more. We are truly grateful to all of our colleagues here in Washington, DC and throughout the world, with whom we are able to create a wide swath of multidisciplinary projects. Another large, and critical part of our efforts is you--our steadfast supporters. We sincerely count on you to engage with us and actively participate in our creative process by attending and enjoying our programs.

We are happy to announce that we will kick off our 2017 celebrations with our namesake performance project, Alekhya: Spilling Ink, which will play at the esteemed Dance Place venue in the Brookland neighborhood of Northeast Washington, DC. It is our hope that you will join us on January 28 and 29 and witness a memorable project that truly epitomizes our creative mission and vision. When we came together in 2007 to create this work, there was no Spilling Ink platform, but that seed idea has grown, and has shaped and carried us thus far, and we anticipate much more.

We look forward to seeing you in the very near future.

Creatively yours,

Vijay Palaparty & Nalini Prakash
